On course for success: new LED board for SV Stuttgarter Kickers
The Stuttgart soccer club SV Stuttgarter Kickers is celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2024 and has set itself the goal of returning to professional soccer from the Regionalliga Südwest. In addition to sporting success, the aim is to strengthen the "Stuttgarter Kickers" brand. To achieve this, the club is relying on modern technologies and strong partnerships. One of these partnerships connects the Stuttgarter Kickers with TOPREGAL.
A board that offers more than just advertising
Visibility and professional representation in the Stuttgarter Kickers environment is a crucial issue for the club. "Despite many inquiries from potential sponsors, our options in this area were very limited due to the static revolving board," explains Matthias Becher, Managing Director of SV Stuttgarter Kickers e. V.
In order to offer existing and new partners in the "blue network" as well as the club itself more opportunities to present their brand messages, the first considerations were made to replace the revolving board in the GAZi stadium on the Waldau with a more modern LED board.
"Companies that support our club financially should not only do so out of goodwill, but should also be able to achieve their own goals through sponsorship," says Matthias Becher.
And that is exactly what the new LED banner does. In addition to increased visibility, an LED board also offers the opportunity to exchange and adapt content quickly and cost-effectively. Messages can be placed flexibly, improving the current relevance and dynamics.
Joint project with a regional connection
The successful contact mediation within the "blue network" led to contact with TOPREGAL as a regional specialist retailer from the greater Stuttgart area in mid-2024. After planning discussions with Managing Director Jürgen Effner and the TOPREGAL team, it quickly became clear that the company would be able to implement the "LED board" project for the Stuttgarter Kickers within a very short space of time. And this despite the fact that TOPREGAL had not previously had a comparable product in its range. Customer requests have also made a significant contribution to the continuous expansion of TOPREGAL's product range in the past. With the TecMaschin brand, under which numerous displays and customer stoppers are already sold, as well as experienced product and electrical engineers, the introduction of an LED strip was the ideal addition to the existing product line. The regional proximity and the familiar, personal relationship combined with the short delivery times convinced the association.
Thanks to close cooperation and active communication, TOPREGAL worked with the club to develop the ideal product, which was used at the home match on September 21, 2024 to mark the 125th anniversary.
With the realization in the GAZi stadium on the Waldau, the LED board was also officially included in the TOPREGAL range.
A partnership that goes beyond the product
"When we do a project, we do it together," is TOPREGAL's motto. For this reason and the close, personal cooperation between the two sides, TOPREGAL decided to extend its involvement with Stuttgarter Kickers beyond the LED board project. "We are proud to be breaking new ground together with the club, not only as a supplier but also as a sponsor, and we are optimistic about our future joint successes," says Jürgen Effner.
The installation of the LED board heralded a new era in Stuttgarter Kickers' stadium advertising. Thanks to the modern technology and flexible usage options, the board offers both the club and the sponsors completely new opportunities for presentation and communication.
