dama-tec GmbH from Sonnenbühl is a wholesaler specializing in ventilation technology. Since it was founded in 2013, the company has been supplying ventilation system manufacturers with all the materials they need, from air duct components to mounting systems and accessories. At dama-tec, products from various manufacturers are brought together in its own warehouse so that customers can obtain everything from a single source.

From a small warehouse to modern logistics

The dama-tec success story began in a small warehouse equipped with used shelving. Just one year after it was founded, it became clear that the company was growing and needed modern warehouse solutions. In 2014, dama-tec opted for the first new shelving units from TOPREGAL.

A milestone in the company's history was the construction of the new warehouse at the Sonnenbühl site in Baden-Württemberg in 2020. A modern logistics concept was implemented with the newly acquired space of 200 m². While the existing shelving was also moved, dama-tec used the modular design of the TOPREGAL systems to flexibly adapt the warehouse to the growing requirements. The company uses the shelving not only for storage, but also for order picking. In addition to PR9000 pallet racks with wooden shelves for palletized goods and individual parts, cantilever racks now also provide the necessary storage space for assembly rails and air duct profiles. Storage racks for small parts and a packing table for dispatch processing complete the new warehouse equipment.

Customized solutions for optimal warehouse processes

"We have been buying our shelving from TOPREGAL since 2014. Our entire warehouse is full of TOPREGAL shelving," explains Managing Director Maik Schweikardt. "The price-performance ratio, the quality of the shelving - we are very satisfied. The handling has always been excellent. It's almost a bit boring how well it's always gone."

When planning the new warehouse, dama-tec relied on TOPREGAL's online configurators to find the perfect shelving solutions for their individual requirements. "We have optimized our storage locations with the shelving. This has made storage and retrieval much easier. Our warehouse processes are now more efficient than ever."
