TOPREGAL continues to grow in Pasewalk

TOPREGAL continues to grow in Pasewalk

On June 20, just three years after setting up shop, TOPREGAL GmbH celebrated another ground-breaking ceremony at the Berlin-Stettin Industrial Park in Pasewalk in perfect weather and with numerous visitors. Within the next year, two new halls of 5,000 square meters each will be built on an adjacent area of 30,000 square meters, which are expected to be ready for occupancy in the second half of 2025.

With the expansion, the company is significantly increasing its production capacity and creating at least 20 new jobs. As with the first four halls, TOPREGAL is relying on the cooperation with Goldbeck. "We are very pleased to be expanding our site in Pasewalk to a total of six halls. The additional space will enable us to meet the high demand for our solar carport and other SoloPort brand products," says Jürgen Effner, Managing Director of TOPREGAL GmbH. The Filderstadt-based company, which specializes in warehouse equipment and operating technology, opened its doors in Pasewalk just one year after the ground-breaking ceremony in 2021.

In May 2023, the go-ahead was given for the specially developed solar carport, which is manufactured in Pasewalk. Further innovations from the SoloPort brand, such as solar parking canopies, followed and are in constant development. With the additional space, the production and warehouse site has grown to a total of 82,000 square meters. In addition to rapid growth, the family-run company is characterized by sustainability measures. This is why TOPREGAL is not only expanding, but also upgrading its energy efficiency. As already implemented in hall one, the three existing halls and the two new roof areas are now also being equipped with photovoltaic systems.

The six halls will then generate a total of 3.4 megawatts peak power. TOPREGAL will use some of the energy generated for its own use and it will flow directly into production. However, the majority will be fed into the grid to supply the region. "A household with four people consumes an average of 3,000 KWh per year," explains Effner. "We can supply over 1,000 households a year with the electricity from the six halls and thus make a contribution to the energy transition."
