With a cleaning capacity of up to 15,200 square metres per hour and a dust container with a capacity of 180 litres, this machine is ideal for use on large indoor and outdoor surfaces. "The battery-powered road sweeper operates with low noise and zero emissions, providing clear benefits for both users and the environment. Thorough cleaning with robust brushes

Measuring 1.95 x 2.19 x 2 metres, the SKM80E is equipped with a main brush and four side brushes made from high-quality polypropylene bristles. With a total weight of 780 kilograms, the machine is exceptionally sturdy. A cleaning width of 1.9 metres and a brush rotation speed of 180 revolutions per minute ensure a deep clean. Adjustable water nozzles help prevent dust clouds, while the 80-litre fresh water tank allows for extended cleaning operations.

No emissions – less noise

The four lead-gel batteries, each rated at 12 volts, provide a long runtime. This enables cleaning operations of 2.5 to 3 hours, with a charging time of 6 to 8 hours via standard 230-volt sockets. "Thanks to battery operation, the SKM80E is significantly quieter than conventional petrol or diesel machines. This not only reduces noise pollution in the operating environment but also improves working conditions for the staff. In addition, battery-powered machines produce no emissions, which is particularly advantageous in high-traffic public spaces or enclosed areas," Effner adds. The lead-gel batteries are also maintenance-free and long-lasting, which helps lower operating costs and boosts the machine’s reliability.

Safe and easy operation

With a top speed of 6 km/h, the road sweeper can be operated on public roads, paths, and squares without the need for road registration. "This means the SKM80E can be operated by anyone holding a standard driving licence, following a brief introduction. Indicators, a horn, handbrake, and LED lights ensure maximum safety during use," Effner concludes.
