Climate neutral departure

TOPREGAL GmbH offers an e-load bicycle with a special feature for climate-neutral transport of goods over short distances or environmentally conscious movement within large corporate areas. "Our optimized cargo bike has its own small solar panel, which can be used to charge the battery directly via solar power - even if there is no e-charging station available on the road," explains Jürgen Effner, Managing Director of TOPREGAL GmbH.

The 36 V electric drive provides 250 W for fast acceleration and supports electronically up to a speed of 25 km/h. The battery is charged directly from the sun. Gradients of up to 25 percent are thus mastered effortlessly.

Front disc brakes and a rear V-brake ensure safety and rapid speed reduction. When stationary, these can be locked to prevent unintentional rolling away. Thanks to 6-speed Shimano gears and pedal assist, users accelerate smoothly, even when carrying heavy loads.

The 10.3 Ah lithium-ion battery lasts for at least 40 kilometers and is fully ready for use again after just six hours of charging. Charging is not only possible at e-charging stations, but a solar panel installed directly on the bike also enables charging during use or during short breaks directly via solar power. A charging power of 70 W and an optimal current voltage of 36 V significantly improve the effective operating time and range of the cargo bike.

"Since the solar panel is mounted on the transport box lid, users can optimally adjust the angle to the sun for better charging performance," clarifies Jürgen Effner. At the same time, the robust 66-kilo Cargobike is not only technically well equipped. In total, the cargo bike can move more than 170 kilograms distributed between the luggage carrier and the 510 x 720 mm transport box.

To use it on public roads, it currently requires the appropriate approval.
