Good warehouse labelling creates orientation and is a prerequisite for efficient and safe warehouse management. It must be clearly visible and easy to understand for employees and third parties with access rights (such as suppliers, inspectors or tradesmen). The warehouse identification is primarily a marking of the shelves. It comprises the three coordinates: the row of shelves, the shelf field and the shelf or storage location level.
In addition, floor markings are of great importance. These are available, for example, as footprints, dots, ovals, triangles, corner pieces, T- and X-pieces in various dimensions, shapes and colours. Just as varied are the fastening variants offered, such as bags with hanging holes, magnets, adhesive strips, tabs, wire hangers or form pressed folds.
