Drive-in racks

Drive-in racks are used for storing goods of the same type and are suitable for large quantities of articles. One side of the shelving is open and can be used, for example forklift can be driven on. Here, however, the principle of storage differs from that of drive-through rack. The last stored goods are removed first (LIFO last-in, first-out) and can only be put away from the back to the front (top to bottom). Only one article is stored per storage aisle. The advantage here is the high space and space utilization, but access to a direct article is not possible.
