Inclined shelving: mobile or stationary?
With the height-adjustable base with castor, your mobile sloping shelving can be adjusted up to 40 cm in height. This results in individually adjustable heights of 85 cm - 254 cm, depending on the type and basic size selected.

Secured against falling
Inclined shelving is supplied as standard with round beams to prevent it from falling. The sloping shelf is suspended at an angle of 20 degrees.

Bay, shelf and point load
a) Point load
With an evenly distributed load, the maximum point load is 1000 kg. This corresponds to the load transferred from the rack upright to the floor.
b) Shelf load
The total load capacity per traverse level or per shelf. The maximum shelf load is 300 kg per level.
c) Bay load
The total load capacity between two uprights. The maximum stationary bay load is 1500 kg, the maximum mobile bay load is 500 kg.
Technical information
Floor anchoring with base plate
- Drill holes with a diameter of 8 mm and a depth of 80 mm
- Blow out the holes
- Drive the bolt anchor into the drilled hole
- Tighten the nut with an open-end wrench or similar
Axial dimensions
The axial dimension describes the width of a shelf bay and the distance between two uprights. We offer axle dimensions in widths of 110 and 220 cm. The axis dimensions can be freely combined with each other. Configure sloping shelving individually with your desired bay lengths. Thanks to the modular design, the storage racks can also be extended at any time.
Securing the beams
Set up the pre-assembled uprights, hang the crossbars on both sides at the required height in the upright profile and insert the locking pins into the hole provided in the crossbar. The crossbars are hooked in at 50 mm intervals.

Application example
Optimum storage of small parts in sloping shelving
Inclined shelving is often used for the storage and distribution of small parts. The advantages of the inclined shelves on the basis of a storage rack are obvious. The warehouse employee can immediately see the stock of goods, loose items can slide straight through to the front and storage space is optimally utilized.
The principle of inclined shelving comes from the Japanese process optimization method Kanban. Here, goods removed using the fetch principle are replenished directly. It is therefore not surprising that sloping shelving is also known as Kanban shelving. Goods that have been removed can be refilled directly from the rear and, thanks to the 20° angle of the shelf, automatically slide forwards, where the securing round tube holder keeps the goods in place and always in the same position ready for removal. This means that the parts that have been in storage the longest can be removed first and the goods do not have to be laboriously re-sorted.
Very small parts, such as screws, are stored securely in open-fronted storage bins or boxes that are easy to see. There is also a practical solution for labeling the stored goods in sloping shelving - especially in the higher areas that are not easily visible to the naked eye: rewritable magnetic tape.
