Tyre rack: mobile or stationary?

A height-adjustable base with a castor allows the tyre rack or trolley to be adjusted by up to 40 cm. Depending on the type and selected basic size, this provides individually adjustable heights from 89 to 254 cm.

Bay, shelf and point loads

a) Point load

With the load distributed evenly, the maximum point load is 1000 kg. This is the load transferred from the rack upright to the floor.

b) Shelf load

Total load capacity per beam level or item of decking. Maximum 400 kg per level.

c) Bay load

Total load capacity between two uprights: maximum 2,000 kg when stationary and maximum 500 kg when mobile.

Floor anchoring with a base plate

  • The rack is secured to the floor using M8x55 bolt anchors
  • Drill holes with a diameter of 8 mm and a depth of 80 mm
  • Blow out the holes
  • Drive the bolt anchor into the drilled hole
  • Tighten the nut securely using an open-ended spanner or similar tool

If the top rack level is lower than five times the rack depth, the rack does not need to be fixed or otherwise secured against tipping. Ensure that the bolt anchors are fitted professionally. Our in-house installation team will be happy to assemble your tyre racks correctly.

Centre-to-centre distances

The centre-to-centre distance describes the width of a rack bay and the distance between two uprights. We offer widths of 110 cm and 220 cm, which can be combined freely. Configure tyre racks with the required bay lengths. Their modular construction also allows the racks to be extended at any time after installation.




Securing the beams

Position the preassembled uprights, hook the beams into the upright profiles at the required height on both sides, and insert the locking pins into the designated hole in each beam. The beams are positioned in a 50 mm grid.

Tyre rack with decking

Individual levels of a tyre rack can be fitted with decking to store useful items such as fitting tools, wheel cleaner, grease and wheel nuts. This allows the rack to be adapted to individual requirements.

Tyre racks for professional storage of tyres and wheels

Tyre racks allow car tyres, rims and complete wheels to be stored professionally without unnecessary material stress. Purchasing a tyre rack is worthwhile even if vehicle tyres are changed only twice a year, because the rack helps prevent pressure marks caused by incorrect storage. TOPREGAL tyre racks minimise the contact area between each tyre and the rack. Stepped beams distribute this contact surface evenly across the tyre.

Whether you need to store tyres, rims or complete wheels, compatible rack depths are available for all common tyre sizes. The configurator makes it easy to choose between three depths. In the smallest version, a starter bay holds eight wheels. The modular design allows any number of tyre-rack bays to be combined and extended, while the beams can be hooked in individually at different heights.

The wheel rack is very straightforward to assemble because it uses a plug-in system: simply hook the beams into the rack uprights. If you prefer wall-mounted tyre storage, order the available wall bracket and use it to secure the tyre rack to the wall. For transport to a vehicle or another location, our tyre-storage systems are also available as tyre trolleys. Fitted with four swivel castors, our mobile tyre racks provide maximum flexibility while reducing manual strain.
