The lead-gel battery BGA/SP12/280 is characterised by a nominal voltage of 12 V and a nominal capacity of 280 Ah. It has a robust ABS housing, weighs 68 kg and has two copper poles, which are colour-coded. The dimensions are 521 mm x 269 mm x 224 mm.
The gel battery from SoloPort is suitable for an operating temperature range of -15 - 45 °C. As with any accumulator, the capacity varies depending on the temperature: at 40 °C it is 102 %, at 25 °C 100 % and at 0 °C 85 %.
The BGA/SP12/280 is maintenance-free and is characterised by its particularly long service life. Compared to conventional lead-acid batteries, gel batteries generally offer a longer service life, improved cycle stability and are also safer, as they have a lower risk of leakage and can be installed in any position. In addition, there is no need to top up with distilled water, which means less maintenance.
