The GSE12/4 from SolidHub: a 3-wheel electric forklift truck with an innovative LI-ION battery

The SolidHub 7077 is a state-of-the-art 3-wheel forklift truck designed for use in warehouse and industrial environments. With its electric drive and powerful lithium-ion battery, it offers an environmentally friendly and efficient solution for material handling. Compared to traditional lead-acid batteries, LI-ION batteries offer a number of advantages:

1. Faster charging times: LI-ION batteries can be charged in a shorter time, reducing forklift downtime.
2. No memory effect: they can be recharged at any time without a decrease in capacity over time.
3. Longer lifespan: LI-ION batteries have a longer lifespan than lead-acid batteries, resulting in lower maintenance costs and less frequent replacements.
4. Higher energy efficiency: Their improved energy efficiency results in extended runtimes between charges.
5. Environmentally friendly: They do not contain heavy metals and are more environmentally friendly to dispose of.
6. Less maintenance: Unlike lead-acid batteries, Li-ion batteries do not require regular topping up with distilled water. This saves a considerable amount of maintenance time and the need for a costly Aquamatic system.

The LI-ION battery of the GSE12/4 is characterised by a high capacity of 280 Ah at a voltage of 24 V. This battery allows for a quick recharge in just 5,5 h, meaning that the forklift is quickly ready for use again, thus minimising operational interruptions. Once fully charged, the truck offers an impressive operating time of up to 4 - 6 h.

A wide range of benefits thanks to its narrow width: the 7077 forklift truck

With compact dimensions of 900 mm x 2.860 mm x 1.995 - 5.150 mm, the GSE12/4 is particularly suitable for narrow and confined work areas. This design allows the 7077 to fit easily through most standard doors and gates, making it an ideal vehicle for in-plant transport. Despite its compact design, the truck has a relatively low tare weight, making it easy to manoeuvre and reducing ground pressure. This is particularly advantageous in sensitive working environments. The forklift has a very small wheelbase and a single wheel at the rear, giving it an exceptionally small turning circle of just 1.508 mm. This small turning circle is ideal for manoeuvring in confined spaces, between rows of shelves, and increases flexibility when placing and removing pallets.

Easy and convenient control directly from the driver's seat

The GSE12/4 controls are designed to be operated comfortably from the driver's seat. Functions such as raising and lowering the forks, tilting the forks and adjusting them sideways are easy to operate, increasing productivity and operator safety. The hydraulic side shift allows you to easily and conveniently move the fork carrier sideways from the cab to enter pallets.

For the use of the electric forklift truck in Germany, a driver's licence L (forklift licence) is required and annual instruction in its use is also mandatory in accordance with § 4 DGUV V1. Please observe national regulations if applicable.

The forklift truck does not have road approval with the listed equipment. Such approval can be obtained by retrofitting the reflective coating, a warning bar and acceptance by an official testing authority.
