The lead-gel battery BGA/SP12/280 features a nominal voltage of 12 V and a rated power of 280 Ah. It has a robust ABS housing, weighs 67 kg and is equipped with two copper poles, which are colour-coded. Its dimensions are 521 mm x 269 mm x 224 mm. 

The gel battery from SoloPort is suitable for an operating temperature range of -15 - 45 °C. As with every rechargeable battery, its capacity varies depending on temperature: at 40 °C it is 102 %, at 25 °C 100 % and at 0 °C 85 %.

In general, Gel batteries offer a longer service life and improved cycle resistance than conventional lead-acid batteries. They are also safer because there is less risk of leakage and they can be installed in any position.
