Efficient support for service areas

TOPREGAL is expanding its own range with the Robi4-HD service robot from TecMaschin. The autonomous robot is designed for companies that want to relieve their employees - for example by taking over walking routes or assisting with transportation, for example in restaurants, care facilities or internal material transport. With four shelves, a total height of 1,290 millimetres and a payload of 40 kilograms, the Robi4-HD is particularly suitable for transporting food, goods or documents indoors. "More and more businesses are reaching their capacity limits, especially in the service sector," explains Jürgen Effner, Managing Director of TOPREGAL GmbH. "The Robi4-HD takes over simple routine tasks, such as the route between the kitchen and guest area or warehouse and sales area. This gives staff more time for direct customer contact or other important tasks." Navigation takes place via a multi-layered sensor system with a locally generated map of the surroundings. This allows the robot to maneuver independently through complex environments, avoid obstacles and move to previously defined target points. An internet connection is not required, which enables fast commissioning. It is controlled via an integrated touch display, supplemented by a 15.6-inch advertising display and optional voice output. With a battery life of up to 10 hours and a charging time of around 4 hours, the robot can be easily integrated into everyday operations.
