Sink posts without any problems
This is possible with our post hole digger EBM540. With a rotation speed of 540 rpm, the PTO enables the earth auger to dig through even the hardest and driest soil. The earth auger consists of two clockwise rotating screws, which are equipped with replaceable and hardened cutting edges at the tip. To enable smooth drilling into the ground, this auger is also equipped with a replaceable tip.
The low weight of 89 kg and the compact dimensions of 750 mm x 1.800 mm x 1.800 mm of the entire assembly allow the post hole digger to be easily mounted on a category 1 three-point hitch. The 1290 mm long PTO shaft hangs below the linkage. The post hole digger is equipped with both a slip clutch and a shear bolt. These protective devices prevent damage to the engine or transmission should the earth auger get stuck in ground that is too hard.
The transmission power of the tractor to which the post hole digger, including the PTO shaft and earth auger, is attached should be between 25 and 50 hp.

The solid but effective EB300 earth auger enables holes to be drilled in soft to hard ground. The drill diameter is 300 mm, with a maximum drilling depth of 600 mm. This is possible thanks to the length of 1.200 m of the entire drill and the hardened and replaceable drill bits. Both the tip and the cutting edges, which are attached directly to the start of the auger, are made of hardened steel and are therefore ideal for penetrating even harder ground. The low weight of the earth auger (21 kg) makes it easy to handle and convenient to attach to the post hole digger.
