Can the gate be opened during a power outage, and how?

The ES3500 electric gate is designed to handle such situations. In the event of a power outage, the gate opens automatically, ensuring that access remains unimpeded. In addition, the barrier arm can be removed manually in an emergency: To do so, simply loosen the two Allen screws on the barrier arm. This provides both automatic opening in the event of a power outage and a simple manual emergency opening.

Question from ma***********@*mx.de

Question based on article no. 241768

How should the barrier system ideally be anchored in/on the ground?

Answer:

We recommend installing the barrier system on a stable concrete foundation and securing it firmly with suitable anchor bolts. Ideally, the foundation should be 50 cm long, 40 cm wide and 80 cm deep. A depth of 80 cm is intended to provide a frost-resistant foundation. This ensures the barrier system is secured stably and permanently.

Question from he**********@*****re.at

Question based on article no. 245355

Can emergency vehicles open the barrier in an emergency?

Answer:

The ES3500 electric barrier does not come equipped with automatic detection for emergency vehicles, such as siren or special signal sensors. However, the barrier is equipped to handle emergencies: In the event of a power outage, it opens automatically to allow access. Additionally, the barrier arm can be removed manually if necessary by loosening two 13 mm hex screws.
