Pallet racking storage technology from TOPREGAL
Each pallet rack for indoor use consists of uprights and crossbars in the colour pure orange RAL 2004. The pallet rack uprights, in signal blue RAL 5005, consist of a front and rear upright profile, which are bolted together by cross and diagonal braces, as well as 2 galvanised base plates, which are bolted to the floor with bolt anchors. Hot-dip galvanized trusses and uprights are used for outdoor use, without the strong blue-orange colour combination. Thanks to the simple plug-in construction, the cross beams can be quickly and easily hooked into the pallet rack uprights, secured with locking pins and individually adjusted in height in a 50 mm grid. Depending on the design, the pallet racks can be loaded with up to 4500 kg per cross beam level and with a maximum bay load of 15000 kg (PR15000). In our standard range we have pallet racking beams in 180 cm, 270 cm and 360 cm for 2, 3 and 4 Euro pallets. Other bay lengths are available on request. We stock heights from 200 cm - 750 cm. While the standard depth of 110 cm is optimal for the lengthwise storage of Euro pallets, we also offer a depth of 80 cm for our pallet racks, for example to store disposable pallets or other goods. The bay load (load capacity between 2 uprights) is, depending on the rack type:
- 4500 kg for the PR4500
- 9000 kg for the PR9000
- 15000 kg for the PR15000
You can also choose from a variety of materials for the shelves. Whether you are looking for mesh shelves (galvanized), wire mesh, steel shelves or chipboard shelves, you will find what you are looking for. With the pallet rack components, it is also possible to purchase individual gratings, wooden supports or steel shelves in order to customise your rack. Thanks to the modular design, it is also possible at any time to expand the shelving with individual shelving components at a later date and to optimise it according to your requirements.
The assembly of the heavy duty shelving is done in no time at all. Immediately after receipt of the goods you can start with the assembly. The legally required load plates are always included in the price and scope of delivery. All assembly material required for proper assembly, such as bolt anchors for floor fastening, safety pins for securing the cross beams, screws, nuts, washers, etc. are included in the price.

Pallet racks - at a glance
Quality of our products
Voluntary testing of our pallet racks
In order to subject ourselves to external quality tests, we have our products inspected annually.
The racks are tested for load, rigidity and stability.
The published load capacity specifications for our racks are based on the DIN EN 15512 standard.
The maximum shelf and bay loads are listed on the load plates included in the scope of delivery to confirm the specifications.
Overview uprights pallet racking
The rack uprights for TOPREGAL pallet racks are available in many different designs. You can choose between different heights, depths and surfaces. Each pallet rack upright (powder-coated in the colour RAL 5005) consists of a front and rear upright profile. These are bolted together by cross and diagonal braces and firmly anchored to the floor with 2 foot plates and M12 x 100 mm bolt anchors to ensure stability. In addition to the powder-coated version, the PR9000 shelf is also available hot-dip galvanised.
Versions + dimensions
You can choose between two different depths: On the one hand, we offer a depth of 80 cm. This is perfect for storing disposable pallets or other goods. On the other hand, we have a standard depth of 110 cm in our range, which is ideal for the lengthwise storage of Euro pallets.
Bay load and point load
- Describes the maximum total load of the rack, with an evenly distributed load between two rack uprights. The sum of the individual bay loads must not exceed the permissible bay load.
- Indicates the maximum load capacity of a single shelf with an evenly distributed load per truss level / the forces acting on the truss.
- Max. The maximum shelf load depends on the length of the crossbars.
Mass of the trusses
Point load per foot plate
- The forces acting on the floor at a point, also known as concentrated load.
Floor anchoring footplate
The floor anchoring is done by using bolt anchors M12x100.
- To do this, first drill the appropriate holes with a suitable drill (12mm diameter).
- The bolt anchor is hammered in with the floor holder.
- Finally, the nut is fastened.
- Thus, the shelf is sufficiently and securely anchored.
Please note: The bolt anchors must be fastened professionally.
Our in-house assembly team will gladly take over the professional assembly of your shelves.
- The bay length describes the width of a rack bay as well as the distance between two pallet rack uprights.
- Bay lengths are available in 180cm, 270cm and 360cm.
- The different bay lengths can be freely combined with each other.
- Configure your pallet rack individually with your desired bay lengths. Our racks can also be extended at any time due to the modular construction.
Assembly of the cross beams
:Pre-assembled shelf upright, crossbar, locking pin
- The crossbars can be hooked into the upright profile at the required height.
- The safety pin protects the crossbar against accidental levering out.
- The height of the individual truss levels can be adjusted in 5cm increments.

Double rack rows
For a space-saving installation of your pallet racking system, it is advisable to install two racks parallel one behind the other.
In this case it makes sense to connect the racks with the help of spacers in order to align them neatly and to generate additional stability.
In order to prevent the rear pallet from being pushed out during loading, we recommend fitting push-through stops on one side of the double rack row.
The push-through protection prevents the pallets from accidentally shifting or falling to the rear.
Screw-on plates as well as screws for fastening to the racking system are included in the price and can be supplied compatible for all common pallet racking systems.
The push-through protection is part of the safety-relevant accessories for pallet racking. These are fitted to the sides of the racking not intended for loading and unloading. They are required by law in the case of public traffic behind the racking or parallel racking.
